Recruiters—ever wish you had proof to say,
“I can't take on more roles right now”?
Here’s how to build your own capacity plan to back it up.
Step 1: Count Your Roles + Support
Start by looking at how many roles you're already handling.
Are you full-cycle? Do you have a sourcer or coordinator?
The less support you have, the fewer roles you can realistically close.
Step 2: Group Roles by Complexity
Not all roles are created equal.
Tier them:
Tier 1: Easy to fill (QA, junior devs)
Tier 2: Moderate (backend, frontend)
Tier 3: Hard (DevOps, AI/ML, niche tools)
More Tier 3s = fewer closures per month.
Step 3: Estimate Closures
Use your past data.
If you typically close 3 hires/month,
and suddenly you're holding 15 roles with 8 Tier 3s…
🚩 That’s your sign to speak up and adjust priorities.
Step 4: Communicate It
Turn your plan into a quick slide or tracker.
Share it with your TA lead or hiring managers.
Now you're not pushing back—you’re showing up with data.
